Research Before You Bet

Professional bettors spend more time researching than actually placing bets. Here is what to analyse before every wager.

Current Form

Look at the last 5-6 matches for both teams. A team on a 5-match winning streak is in very different shape to one with 1 win in 6. But also check where they played — home and away form can differ dramatically.

Head-to-Head (H2H)

Some teams historically perform well against certain opponents regardless of current form. Check the last 5-10 meetings between the two sides.

Team News

Injuries and suspensions to key players can swing a match completely. A team missing their first-choice goalkeeper or top striker is significantly weaker.

Motivation

Teams fighting relegation or chasing the title are highly motivated. Teams in mid-table with nothing to play for may field weakened squads.

Weather & Pitch

In African leagues especially, pitch conditions and weather can heavily influence results. Waterlogged pitches favour defensive teams.
