Mastering the Bet Slip

The bet slip is where all your selections come together before you confirm your wager. Understanding every element prevents costly mistakes.

Single Bets

One selection, one outcome. Simplest bet type. Your payout = Stake × Odds. Example: Arsenal to win at 1.85 with KES 500 stake = KES 925 return (KES 425 profit).

Accumulators (Accas)

Multiple selections combined into one bet. ALL selections must win for the bet to pay out. The odds multiply together.

Example 3-fold acca: Arsenal 1.85 × Man City 1.50 × Liverpool 1.70 = Combined odds 4.72. A KES 200 stake returns KES 944.

System Bets

A safer alternative to accumulators. A “2 from 3” system bet covers all possible doubles from 3 selections. If 2 out of 3 win, you still get paid.

Common Bet Slip Mistakes

  • Wrong stake amount (always double-check)
  • Selecting the wrong team (home vs away)
  • Not checking if odds have changed before confirming
  • Placing duplicate bets accidentally
